Back at the Bathams brewery for the third time we were pleased to be working on the famous Vine pub, the heart of where Bathams Bitter is brewed.
Following on from our recent projects the British Charnwood stoves are a popular choice. Easy to light & easy to use they are working well in the other Bathams establishments. A 20mm bespoke Brazilian slate hearth was used to prevent any trip hazards and for its stylish clean design.
Original brickwork was part of the design and upon opening the fireplace the brickwork was in poor condition. We used reclaimed bricks from within the fireplace to create a new brick chamber and brick frame feature to protect the shelf & dart board above.
*Hearth – Bespoke Brazilian slate 20mm thickness
*Stove – Charnwood C5 Wood only
Feel free to visit the The Vine in Brierley Hill for a pint of Bathams brewed on site.
Installation completed by Doug, HETAS engineer.
